Briley Hill and Elena Milam Selected BIG EAST All-Tournament Team

Blue Demon duo selected for efforts in BIG EAST Championships
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer graduate student Elena Milam and redshirt junior Briley Hill were selected to the 2024 BIG EAST Women's Soccer All-Tournament Team, as announced by the conference on Sunday afternoon.
In the first round of the BIG EAST Tournament on Nov. 3, the Blue Demons took on Butler, with Hill scoring a critical goal in the 70th minute to put DePaul ahead 3-2. Despite the lead, Butler equalized, sending the game into double overtime, which ended in a 3-3 draw. Milam recorded seven saves over the 110 minutes of play, keeping DePaul in the game. The match then went to a penalty shootout, where the Blue Demons prevailed 8-7, advancing to the semifinals for the first time since 2016.
Though DePaul ultimately fell to a top-ranked Xavier team in the BIG EAST Semifinals, Hill and Milam were pivotal in the tournament run. Milam made five saves in the Semifinal match, while Hill logged 72 minutes at forward.
To cap off the season, Hill ranked second on DePaul's roster with 23 shots and was fourth in points, contributing two goals and two assists over 1,192 minutes on the field.
In goal, Milam started all 20 matches for the Blue Demons, recording 82 saves and securing six shutouts. She concluded her career in scarlet and blue ranked sixth in DePaul history with 193 career saves.
