Blue Demons drop match 4-0 on Saturday
WEST POINT, N.Y. – DePaul men's tennis dropped its match Saturday afternoon against Boston College at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center, 4-0.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, DePaul was unable to field a doubles team at the No. 3 position and a singles player at the No. 6 spot. The Blue Demons entered the match with automatic forfeits at these two positions.
Boston College (2-1) eventually went on to secure the first point of the day with a win on the No. 1 doubles court.
Sven Moser and Laurentiu Mandocescu would both secure first-set wins, but were unable to complete their matches after the Eagles nabbed two singles decisions to secure the four-point victory.
