Darius Brown Makes his NCAA Indoor Championship Debut

The Blue Demon prepares for the championship semifinals in Boston
CHICAGO – DePaul track and field's Darius Brown prepares for the 60m hurdle semifinals at the 2024 NCAA Track & Field Indoor Championships tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. CT. Fans can watch Brown compete on ESPN+ and keep up with live results here.
The Blue Demon will be in heat two, lane one for the men's 60m hurdle semifinals. The top two athletes in each heat plus the next four fastest advance to the finals.
The Louisville, Ky. native has gone undefeated in his event so far this season. Brown's 7.63 performance at the BIG EAST Championship on Feb. 24th is currently tied as the No. 9 time nationally.
The Blue Demon's new personal best set the conference indoor championship record and bested his previous school record for the fourth time this season. The previous BIG EAST Indoor Championship record had stood since 2005.
At the end of the championships, Brown was co-named Men's Most Outstanding Track Performer by the conference. The Blue Demon earned many conference accolades this season, having been named BIG EAST Track Athlete of the Week three times for his multiple record breaks in the men's 60m hurdles.
