CHICAGO – DePaul men's basketball officially announced the addition of David Skogman for the 2024-25 roster, Friday morning. Skogman joins DePaul to conclude his collegiate career following playing experience at Davidson and Buffalo.
"David is an elite shooting big man who has really grown every year he's been in college," said head coach Chris Holtmann. "He is older and has great maturity with a desire to win and finish his career well. We think we fits very well into our system and the roster we have put together. David loves the idea of representing DePaul and finishing his career here."
With a career 53.3 field goal percentage and 80.0 free throw percentage, Skogman also is a threat from deep where he has shot over 40 percent with 88 career made three-pointers. The Waukesha, Wis. native has totaled 742 career points and 462 rebounds, averaging 7.9 and 4.9 per game, respectively.
Skogman started all 17 games he appeared in during the 2023-24 season, including 11 double-digit scoring performances and a career-high 30-point performance against Charlotte. In 2022-23, he appeared in all 32 games for Davidson off the bench where he had 11 games with 10 or more points and finish second in the A-10 in free throw percentage (.887).

Skogman graduated from Waukesha West High School after averaging 18.6 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.2 blocks per game as a senior, leading his team to a league title. He was the second-rated player in the state of Wisconsin and ranked among the top-60 centers nationwide.
