The Lincoln, Neb. product enters the 2024-25 season as a junior
CHICAGO – Junior transfer Briley Hill is set to begin her first full season as a Blue Demon after joining DePaul women's soccer in January. The Lincoln, Neb. native makes the move to Lincoln Park after three years, including a redshirt season, with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Hill, a 2021 graduate of Lincoln East High School, earned four varsity letters in soccer while also leading her team to back-to-back state tournament appearances in 2018 and 2019.
Hill was named to the All-Nebraska Girls Soccer Team, played in the Nebraska Seniors All-Star Game, and was a two-time All-Conference selection in high school. Her sixteen goals as a high school sophomore are the most in school history.
From 2018-2020, Hill played for Elite Girls Academy and finished off her last year in club sports representing Gretna Elite Academy from 2020-2021.
While at Nebraska, Hill appeared in 35 games and amassed 942 minutes across two seasons. In her redshirt-freshman season, Hill attempted one shot, primarily playing on the defensive side of the ball. During her redshirt-sophomore season, Hill took eleven shots (eight on goal), scored two goals, and added one assist.
At Lincoln East, Hill was an honor roll student and a two-time HAC Scholar-Athlete. A Lincoln East Ambassador member, Hill earned the Lincoln East Shining Star Award while representing her school's National Honor Society.
Hill also earned numerous academic recognitions at Nebraska, including Academic All-Big Ten (2023), Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2022, 2023), and Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2022, 2023).
