Women’s Soccer Unveils 2024 Schedule

Blue Demons host 11 matches at Wish Field this fall
CHICAGO – DePaul women's soccer head coach Michele O'Brien announced the 2024 fall schedule Tuesday morning. The Blue Demons are set to host 11 home events at Wish Field including an exhibition matchup against Michigan State followed by 10 regular season matches.
"We have put together a challenging, yet exciting 2024 schedule against some quality opponents. We will experience matches against teams from a variety of different conferences, which will allow us to grow as a team and find out what our identity will be this year" O'Brien said.
"This schedule will make us stronger and prepared to compete in a very competitive BIG EAST Conference and I know this group can't wait to get started."
O'Brien and Co. will open the preseason slate Aug. 3 at Milwaukee in the first of two exhibitions. A week later, the Blue Demons host the Spartans at Wish Field in a final tune up on Saturday, Aug. 10.
The 2024 regular season begins at home as Northern Illinois visits Lincoln Park on Aug. 15. The middle of the month puts the Blue Demons on the road for tilts with local opponents, Illinois (Aug. 18) and Loyola (Aug. 25).
DePaul is set to host a pair of matches Labor Day weekend, beginning with a contest against Purdue on Thursday, Aug. 29 before the 2023 Atlantic Sun Champions, Florida Gulf Coast, lands in Chicago on Sept. 1. The Blue Demons then renew their rivalry with UIC on Thursday, Sept. 5 at Flames Field.
The final weekend of non-conference play features a pair of home matches against Lindenwood Sept. 12 and Western Michigan Sept. 15.
The Blue Demons open the BIG EAST schedule against reigning conference champions, Xavier, Sept. 22 in Cincinnati before turning around to host Butler Sept. 26.
In its first of three trips to the East Coast, DePaul opens the month of October at Villanova on Oct. 3.
A three-match homestand begins Oct. 6 when Marquette makes the short trip down I-94. The Blue Demons host Georgetown on Oct. 13 and Seton Hall on Oct. 17.
DePaul will travel to Creighton on Oct. 20 and round out the week against Connecticut on Oct. 24. The regular-season finale sends the Blue Demons to the Ocean State for a match against Providence on Oct. 31.
The 2024 BIG EAST Tournament is set to begin on Sunday, Nov. 3 with a champion crowned a week later at the Maryland SoccerPlex.
All match times are subject to change with television designations to be announced at a later date.
The Blue Demons return 21 letterwinners from a season ago while bringing 11 newcomers to Lincoln Park.
