Freshman advances to consolation final with two wins on Saturday
MILWAUKEE. Wis. – On the second day of action at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic, freshman Tobias Leitner found success with two singles victories in the consolation draw.

After dropping his opener on Friday, Leitner bounced back by defeating Navy's Aniketh Ayinala 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 in the quarterfinals Saturday morning. The Freistadt, Austria native defeated Collin Beduhn of Wisconsin 2-6, 6-3, 10-7 to advance to the West final.

Elsewhere in singles action, Matteo Iaquinto dropped his quarterfinal matchup to Western Michigan's Oscar Corwin by a narrow margin, 3-6, 6-3, 8-10. Coming off a 2-0 opening day, Pablo Torres Almeida fell in the main draw quarterfinal, 6-2, 6-7, 1-6 to Saiprakash Goli of Northwestern.

Freshman Quang Vinh Nguyen wrapped up his weekend of singles play with a straight-set setback to Wisconsin's Michael Minasyan, 4-6, 2-6.

In doubles action, the tandem of Nguyen and Torres Almeida were bested by Nebraska's Bilicic and Johann, 6-3, in the East draw quarterfinals.
