CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball has signed rising sophomore transfer Jade Dudley-Epps, as announced by head coach Marie Zidek Tuesday afternoon.
"Jade was the perfect addition for us," said Zidek.
"We will not ever replace what Aly [Kindelberger] provided our program, but Jade offers us the opportunity to continue playing a dynamic style of volleyball that is built on speed and intuition. She will compliment our other middles really well, and offer our setters another weapon on the attack. I am really looking forward to getting Jade into our DePaul program, and seeing where her development can go these next three seasons."
In her freshman season at San Jose State, Dudley-Epps came on strong as the season concluded, posting 41 kills and 20 blocks in her final six matches of the year, en route to a Mountain West All-Tournament Team selection.
A native of Lakewood, California, the middle blocker helped lead Lakewood High School to two state championships during her tenure on the squad as a four-year varsity starter, while also playing club volleyball for Southern California Volleyball Club and Mizuno Long Beach.
Dudley-Epps excelled in the classroom, posting a 4.40 GPA at Lakewood. She was named to Prep Volleyball's Top 150 players in the class of 2024, and earned first-team All-Moore League recognition as a senior.
