Blue Demons Open October at West Bay Collegiate Invitational

ESTERO, FLA. – After a week of training, DePaul golf returns to competition this week, Oct. 6-7, at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational. The event, hosted by FGCU, is held at the West Bay Club in Estero, Fla. The 6,939 yard course has a par-72.
Teams in attendance include UCF, Coastal Carolina, DePaul, Eastern Michigan, Elon, Florida Gulf Coast, George Mason, Jacksonville, Middle Tennessee and Stetson. Additionally, individuals are competing from USF and Florida Atlantic.
The Blue Demons lineup is expected to feature Dominic Lucchesi, Rohan Gopaldas, Sam Mortell, North Chery and Austin Scott. The event marks Sam Mortell's season-debut in his first year at DePaul. Lucchesi will tee off first for DePaul at 7:30 a.m. on hole 9, Monday morning.
Following this weekend, DePaul will close out its fall schedule at the Dayton Flyer Invitational Oct. 20-21.
