For the sixth time in as many outings, Kate Novik recorded a double-digit scoring total with a team-best 13 points to go along with five rebounds and three assists. Natiah Nelson added 10 points and six rebounds of her own.
The Blue Demons shared the ball well for the second-straight game with 18 assists on 22 field goals. For the fifth time in six games, the Blue Demons forced 20 or more opponent turnovers with Northern Colorado tallying 26 miscues.
Tatum West and Heather Baymon led Northern Colorado with 13 points apiece. West added a team-high 10 rebounds.

Both sides traded seven field goals to open the second quarter before three DePaul turnovers flipped the lead in favor of Northern Colorado, 27-26. The Bears' lead lasted just thirty seconds before forward Meg Newman scored her first basket of the night. DePaul's defense held firm again, keeping UNC scoreless for the final five minutes to take a 28-27 edge into halftime.
DePaul (2-4) opened the second half with its strongest offensive stretch, posting seven points in the first minute. The Bears answered with a perfect three-for-three run, keeping the back-and-forth nature of the game alive at 37-35. Transition finishes from Nelson and Alayna West reignited momentum, extending the lead to 45-39.
After an 8-2 UNC run to start the fourth, Novik and Aizhanique Mayo hit back-to-back threes to put DePaul up 53-47.
