Kate Novik Earns BIG EAST Honor Roll Mention

Blue Demon junior recognized after triple double performance
CHICAGO – DePaul junior guard Kate Novik was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon. The Grodno, Belarus native shined in DePaul's win over UMass Lowell Thursday with the first triple double of her collegiate career.
Novik recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 30 minutes of play as the Blue Demons knocked off the River Hawks 78-48. It was the eighth triple double in program history and 13th in Division I this season.
For the season, Novik leads DePaul in scoring (12.1 ppg), rebounding (6.7 rpg), assists (3.5 apg) and blocks (1.0 bpg).
The Blue Demons play their final non-conference contest of the season Wednesday, Dec. 17 at UIC.
