Blue Demons ranked for second-straight week
CLEVELAND, Ohio – After securing three-straight victories at home, No. 72 DePaul men's tennis heads east to take on Cleveland State (3-7) and Buffalo (5-4) in a weekend road test.
Cleveland State will serve as the host, with matches taking place at the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion in Cleveland, Ohio. DePaul will first take on the Vikings on Friday at 4:30 p.m. CT, followed by a matchup against the Bulls at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Demons (7-5, 1-0 BIG EAST) aim to extend their hot-streak, posting a 7-2 record in their last nine outings, including consecutive sweeps over Belmont and Eastern Kentucky last time out—their first back-to-back sweeps since 2021. DePaul also maintained its ITA Top 75 ranking in consecutive weeks for the first time since March 2012.
After an undefeated 3-0 weekend at the George Lott Classic, freshman Andy Hadziabdic earned his first career accolade, securing BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. The Deerfield, Ill., native dominated the competition, winning all three of his singles matches without dropping a set.
