DePaul Volleyball Releases Spring Schedule

CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball head coach Marie Zidek announced the program's spring schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Blue Demons will play at four different events over April and early May, including two to be held at McGrath-Phillips Arena.
The Blue Demons will head to the Pineapple Spring Tournament at Purdue Fort Wayne on April 5, alongside a plethora of regional opponents, including Valparaiso, Central Michigan, Toledo, Grand Valley, Cleveland State, Oakland, and Bowling Green. DePaul will play three matches over the course of the day.
Competition continues on April 12 when DePaul hosts the Chicago Classic at McGrath-Phillips Arena, welcoming local foes UIC, Loyola Chicago, and Chicago State.
The Blue Demons will then travel to BIG EAST rival Marquette on April 26, where Zidek will also assist in leading an Art of Coaching clinic for volleyball coaches of all experience levels.
The spring slate will conclude at home on May 1, as DePaul welcomes a local Volleyball League of America team, 630 Breeze, to McGrath-Phillips Arena at 7 p.m. More information for fans wanting to attend the match will be made available at a later date.
DePaul returns eight letter winners from last season's team that earned a BIG EAST tournament berth for the third time in four seasons, and advanced to the Great 8 of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC). A duo of newcomers in freshman Arden Billingsley and sophomore transfer Jade Dudley-Epps will suit up for the Blue Demons this spring.
