
Blue Demons Host Pair of BIG EAST Opponents

DePaul takes on Creighton and Georgetown at home
CHICAGO – DePaul men's tennis returns home for a pair of BIG EAST battles against Creighton (8-5) and Georgetown (4-6) at XS Tennis Village, March 14-16. The Blue Demons will face the Bluejays on Friday at 7:15 p.m. CT, followed by a matchup with the Hoyas on Sunday at 12:15 p.m. CT.
The Blue Demons (9-7, 1-0 BIG EAST) return to Chicago after road trips to Cleveland, Ohio, and Charlotte, N.C., where they split four matches, 2-2. This followed a four-match win streak in late February that propelled DePaul into the ITA top 75 rankings for two weeks. In their last outing, the Blue Demons fell to recently ranked UNC Charlotte on Sunday, March 9.
At No. 1 singles, Matteo Iaquinto leads the way with a 5-4 record, entering the weekend with a team-best three-match win streak. The Blue Demon singles lineup is rounding into form as the postseason approaches, with clear leaders at each position: No. 1: Matteo Iaquinto (5-4), No. 2: Pablo Torres Almeida (5-4), No. 3: Marko Milosavljevic (4-1), No. 4: Andy Hadziabdic (5-1), No. 5: Tom Giles (5-3), No. 6: Quang Vinh Nguyen (4-2).
