Blue Demons to Compete At Don Benbow Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS – DePaul golf continues its spring season at the Don Benbow Butler Spring Invitational. The two-day event will begin on Monday, March 31 with 36-continuous holes followed by 18 on Tuesday, April 1. The event at Highland Country Club tees off Monday at 8 a.m. CT and is a par 70 course.

DePaul is joined in the 13-team field by Butler, Bradley, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, Purdue Fort Wayne, Indian Hills CC, IU Indianapolis, Loyola Chicago, Oakland, Green Bay and Youngstown State. Ball State, Indiana and Miami (Ohio) also have individual competitors.
The Blue Demons lineup is expected to include Ryder Henares, Rohan Gopaldas, Pablo Riveiro, Dominic Lucchesi and Alex Vekich. Billy Gneiser, Hank Schaefer and Paull Costello will also compete as individuals.
Following this weekend, DePaul returns to action April 5-6 in Bloomington, Ind. for the Hoosier Collegiate Invitational.
