Marie Zidek Tabbed Head Coach for Women’s Volleyball U23 National Team

Zidek to coach at the 2025 NORCECA Pan American Cup in Mexico
CHICAGO - DePaul volleyball head coach Marie Zidek will serve as head coach for the USA Volleyball Under-23 National Team this summer, as announced by USA Volleyball Wednesday afternoon.
She and the team will travel to Anaheim, California from July 18-25 for training, then to Leon, Mexico for the 2025 NORCECA Women's U23 Pan American Cup from July 25-August 2.
Zidek has committed her career to the improvement of volleyball athletes at all levels, entering her eighth season at the helm of the Blue Demons this fall, and coaching across the nation at a multitude of youth camps and clinics, including the past 14 years with the USA Volleyball National Team Development Program.
Rounding out Zidek's staff are former Olympians Kayla Banwarth and Danielle Scott, performance analyst Matthew Adams from the University of Michigan, athletic trainer Cherryl Bruno, and team lead Taylor Marten.
