
Men's Soccer Earns USC Team Academic Award for 21st Time

Blue Demons honored for academic success
CHICAGO – For the 21st-consecuitve year, the DePaul University men's soccer program was recognized by  United Soccer Coaches as a recipient of the College Team Academic Award. The award recognizes teams that post an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The Blue Demons compiled a 3.480 cumulative GPA at the conclusion of the 2024-25 academic year, joining 284 men's programs honored across all three divisions. Additionally, DePaul was one of 152 schools that had both its men's and women's programs recipients of the award this year.
Head Coach Mark Plotkin and his 2025 squad will compete in its second preseason exhibition on Saturday, Aug. 16 at Saint Louis before opening the regular season at home against Purdue Fort Wayne Aug. 21. Admission to all matches at Wish Field is free.
