Blue Demons Face No. 23 Wisconsin in Second Preseason Test

Women’s soccer wraps exhibition play in neutral-site bout

ROCKFORD, Ill. – DePaul women's soccer will close out its preseason slate with a neutral-site exhibition against No. 23 Wisconsin on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. CT at Wedgbury Stadium at the Mercyhealth Sportscore Complexes in Loves Park, Illinois.

Wisconsin finished the 2024 season with a 10-6-5 overall record, going 5-3-3 in Big Ten play. The Badgers fell to Ohio State in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament but advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 with a 3-1 win over Maine, a draw against No. 4 Virginia, and a 3-1 loss to top-ranked USC.

Following Saturday's contest, DePaul will open the regular season against Chicago State on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 4 p.m. CT. The matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs and will take place at Wish Field.
