Golf Set for Action at Badger Invitational

MADISON, WIS. – DePaul golf is set for its second competition of the 2025-26 season, Sept. 22-23 as the Blue Demons take part in the Badger Invitational. The Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin, is hosted at TPC Wisconsin in Madison, Wis. The course opened in 2023 and was designed by Ryder Cup Captain Steve Stricker and PGA head of design Steve Wenzloff, it features 7,266 yards of play with a par of 71.

Teams in attendance includes: Wisconsin, Green Bay, Illinois State, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Oakland, Southern Illinois, Southern Miss, Toledo, UTSA, VCU, Valparaiso and Xavier. Action will begin Monday morning with a shotgun start at 7:15 a.m.

The Blue Demons lineup is expected to feature Rohan Gopaldas, North Chery, Dominic Lucchesi, Matthew Rastogi and Austin Scott. Jack Mann will also make his collegiate debut, competing as an individual. Monday will also mark Rastogi's DePaul and season debut. Scott will tee off first for DePaul at hole 10.

Gopaldas, Chery, Lucchesi and Scott all competed for DePaul last week at the season opening Highlands Invitational. Chery and Lucchesi led DePaul, finishing in 27th, as Chery had the best score over par by a true freshman for the Blue Demons since 2019.

Following the Badger Invitational, DePaul will travel to Estero, Fla. For the West Bay College Invitational, Oct. 6-7.
