Noeh Hernandez to Represent Puerto Rico in Friendly vs. Argentina at Soldier Field

Junior midfielder called up for historic friendly
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer midfielder Noeh Hernandez has been called up to represent Puerto Rico on the Senior National Team for a friendly versus reigning World Cup Champions and FIFA No. 1 Argentina on Monday, Oct. 13 at Soldier Field. Kickoff for the first meeting between the two countries is set for 7 p.m. CT. Tickets to the match can be purchased here.
In the past two years, Hernandez has made seven starts for Puerto Rico in CONCACAF Nations League play and World Cup Qualifying, scoring a goal and totaling five assists for Huracán Azul. Hernandez scored the first goal of his international career Nov. 15, 2024 in Puerto Rico's 5-1 victory over Aruba.
For DePaul, Hernandez has appeared in 39 matches and made 37 starts since the Fall of 2023 with 16 goals and 11 assists to his credit. The Bridgeview, Ill. native owns 43 points on his career and ranks 14th all-time in DePaul's program records. The 2025 BIG EAST Preseason Offensive Player of the Year has posted a team-high 29 shots through nine matches this season while recording three goals.Â
Hernandez and the Blue Demons return to action on Saturday, Sept. 27 when Creighton visits Wish Field at 2 p.m.
