Blue Demons Close Out Preseason Schedule Saturday at Wisconsin

DePaul visits Madison for tilt with Badgers Saturday at 6pm
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer wraps up its 2026 preseason slate Saturday with a trip to Madison, Wis. to take on Wisconsin for an exhibition matchup at 6 p.m. Admission at McClimon Track/Soccer Complex is free.
Saturday's match will mark the third exhibition of the preseason for both squads. Wisconsin has hosted Drake and St. Thomas in its previous two preseason matches, while the Blue Demons have faced Indian Hills Community College and No. 4 Saint Louis.
The Badgers were 8-8 a season ago, including a 4-6 mark in Big Ten action. Led by fourth-year head coach Neil Jones, the Badgers welcome back two of their top-three goal scorers in Matthew Zachemski and Markie Hrojevic. Wisconsin's roster features 18 letterwinners from the 2025 squad to go along with nine newcomers.
DePaul opens the 2026 campaign with back-to-back road games beginning with a trip to Bradley for the season opener Aug. 20. The Blue Demons visit Ohio State Aug. 24 before returning to Wish Field for the home opener against Western Illinois Aug. 27.
