CHICAGO – DePaul senior midfielder Noeh Hernandez was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the conference office announced Monday, his fourth selection of the season.
Hernandez figured in all three of DePaul's goals last week. He assisted on Keagan Pace's fifth-minute strike against No. 11 Louisville on Oct. 6, then set up Pace again Saturday at UConn before scoring the game-winner himself in the Blue Demons' 2-1 victory.
His seven shots against the Huskies matched the most by any BIG EAST player in a single match this season.
The win was DePaul's first in conference play this fall, moving the Blue Demons to 1-1-1 in the BIG EAST and 3-3-4 overall.
Hernandez leads DePaul with 18 points on six goals and six assists. His 1.80 points per game rank third in the BIG EAST, his 0.60 assists per game are second, and his 3.20 shots per game are second. His four multi-point games are tied for the most in the conference.
Among active BIG EAST players, Hernandez leads in career assists (17) and ranks second in career points (61), goals (22) and shots (152).
