Blue Demons Earn Top Five Finish

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – DePaul men's golf secured a fifth-place finish out of 12 teams at the Military City Collegiate with a total score of 895 (+31) at TPC San Antonio – Canyons. The fifth-place finish marks the highest of the season for the Blue Demons.
"I'm incredibly proud of how our team competed in the final round - especially in such tough, windy conditions," said head coach Ryan Jamison. "They truly applied the lessons they've worked on all week, and it showed in the way they performed on a challenging final day. It was also great to give some of our underclassmen the opportunity to step up and gain valuable experience."
North Chery led DePaul with his third-straight top-15 finish, scoring 223 (+7). Chery's tournament was highlighted by his second round, carding an even-par 72. Billy Gneiser secured 24th place with a 225 (+9).
Dominic Lucchesi tied for 26th place, posting a final score of 226 (+10). Matthew Rastogi and Leif Breede rounded out the Blue Demon competitors with a 228 (+12) and 242 (+26), respectively. Rastogi's event was highlighted by a season-best 72 (E) in his first round, while Breede had a personal best 72 (E) in his second round.
