Sasha Stula Snags her Fourth BIG EAST Award of the Season

The junior from Japan is now 13-1 on the year and 6-0 in conference matches
CHICAGO – DePaul women's tennis standout junior Sasha Stula collected her fourth BIG EAST Women's Singles Player of the Week award of the season on Monday afternoon, further recognizing her blazing start to the year. Having played all of her contests at No. 1 court, Stula is now 13-1 overall and 6-0 in BIG EAST play after a 2-0 trip to the East Coast on Friday and Saturday.
This past weekend, Stula defeated Victoria Papadopoulou of St. John's 6-3, 7-6(1) and Kira Farrakhova of Seton Hall 7-6(2), 6-4, notching her fifth and sixth conference wins of the season. Five of her eight straight set victories have come against BIG EAST foes thus far.
Last year, Stula earned Second Team All BIG EAST honors, and snagged one Player of the Week award during the 2025 campaign. Her 12-5 tally in 2025 built upon her 2-12 record in 2024, and currently in 2026, Stula only stands to improve upon last year's mark.
