Men’s tennis meets Chanticleers for first time
CONWAY, S.C. – DePaul men's tennis opens its spring break slate Wednesday, March 25, with a matchup against Coastal Carolina at Stevens Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 11 a.m. CT.
The Blue Demons (4-11) enter the match following a dominant 7-0 sweep over Xavier, taking the doubles point and winning five of six singles matches in straight-sets. The result marked the program's first 7-0 sweep in over a year and improved DePaul to 2-0 in BIG EAST play.
Spring Break Success
DePaul has secured at least one win in three-consecutive spring break trips, spanning North Carolina (2023), Florida (2024), and Mississippi/Alabama (2025). Last season's trip included a 6-1 win over Southern Mississippi on March 25. The Blue Demons look to continue that trend as they transition into outdoor play.

The No. 1 singles player secured a straight-set victory and contributed to the doubles point, earning his sixth win of the season at the top position.

Pablo Torres Almeida has earned five wins this season, providing depth throughout the lineup. In doubles, DePaul has totaled 12 dual victories, with multiple pairings contributing across all three courts.
