Morgan Rogers Earns BIG EAST Honor Roll Recognition

Junior outfielder batted .667 on the weekend and extended hit-streak to seven games
CHICAGO – Coming off a stellar weekend at the plate, DePaul's Morgan Rogers was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for the first time in her collegiate career. The junior outfielder helped the Blue Demons pick up a 7-6 victory in Sunday's series finale versus Villanova, snapping a 14-game skid against the Wildcats.
Rogers extended her hit streak to seven games while batting .667 in the weekend series against Villanova. The Chicago native went 8-for-12 at the plate with five hits going for extra bases, including a bases-clearing triple that gave DePaul the go-ahead run in Sunday's finale. She totaled four RBIs and crossed the plate twice. Rogers has recorded a double in seven straight games.
For the season, Rogers owns a .442 average with 19 hits, including eight doubles, five RBIs and four stolen bases.
DePaul (10-14, 1-2 BIG EAST) returns to action March 13-15 when Georgetown visits Cacciatore Stadium for a three-game series. Admission is free for all fans.
