DePaul Cheer Welcomes 2026-27 Team

The DePaul Cheer team announced its 2026-27 squad earlier this month.Â
The team will be comprised of 12 returning athletes alongside eight newcomers.Â
Returning from the 2025-26 team are seniors Kayleen Iniguez, Yuliana Garzon and Andrea Daval, Â juniors Cassie Khan, Yagmur Akgunlu, Echo O'Leary, and Isabel Hernandez and sophomores Aleela Hill, Brooke Coryer, and Leah Soto. Â Also returning are Kaden Jackson and Phil Nunez, both of whom last represented the Blue Demons during the 2024-25 season.Â
DePaul is excited to welcome eight newcomers, including six freshman. Â Linnea Williams, Josephine Fedorak, Rita Anne Streicher, Audra Leiva, Makenna Bondaruk and Alanah Mosely will take to the mat for the first time this season, joined by senior newcomer Cris Suarez and sophomore Jackson Klawonn.Â
The cheer team is coached by Francine Dilay and Pat Greiner and will begin their season in late July at NCA Summer Camp.Â
