Women’s Tennis Announces 2026-27 Schedule

Blue Demons set to host five matches at XS Tennis Village in 2027
CHICAGO – Eighth-year women's tennis head coach Marisa Arce announced the 2026-27 season schedule, featuring four matches against power four opponents.
"We're so excited for this upcoming season," said Arce. "We have plenty of opportunities against top teams to help us prepare and peak in April. Our goal, as always, is to win the BIG EAST Championship and compete in the NCAA Tournament in May."
The Blue Demons open the season with three tournaments through October, first heading to Michigan for the MSU Hidden Duals (Oct. 2-4), then back to Illinois for the ITA Midwest Regionals (Oct. 8-12) and ending the month in Toledo for the Toledo Hidden Duals (Oct. 30-31).
The Blue Demons open dual season in January, starting with a trip to the Sunshine State to clash with FGCU and Arkansas State in Fort Myers, Fla. (Jan 16 and Jan. 18). They then return to Toledo on Jan. 22.
A matchup with Purdue on Jan. 24 is the Blue Demons' final out-of-state stop for the month, as the team will then head back into Illinois for a pair of road contests at NIU (Jan. 29) and Northwestern (Jan. 30).
February 5 marks DePaul's official 2026-27 homecoming, as the Blue Demons protect home court against Indiana at XS Tennis Village.
The following week and a half is jam-packed with BIG EAST play. First, the Blue Demons visit Georgetown (Feb. 12), Villanova (Feb. 13) and UConn (Feb. 19), then take a quick detour northeast to Boston on Feb. 20. The end of February and beginning of March lead DePaul back to home base, where they will play host to Western Michigan (Feb. 27), Butler (Feb. 28) and St. John's (March 5).
The next day, DePaul knocks on Notre Dame's door for a March 6 meeting before heading to Cincinnati to take on Xavier a week later. A March 20 battle with Seton Hall at XS Tennis Village marks the end of DePaul's regular-season home schedule.
The Blue Demons embark on their final road stretch of the regular season at the end of March, traveling to USF on March 26 and opening April in Nebraska. DePaul is set to face Omaha on April 9 and finish the season at Creighton the following day.
Postseason play begins shortly after, with the BIG EAST tournament set for April 22-25 in Cayce, S.C. and the NCAA tournament first round beginning May 7-9.
The Blue Demons return six letterwinners from a standout 2025–26 campaign featuring a 12-11 overall record, a 6-1 conference resume and the program's fourth BIG EAST Championship appearance in seven seasons.
