Dudley-Epps, Polezzi Land on BIG EAST Honor Roll

Blue Demon duo collects conference recognition
CHICAGO – DePaul volleyball's Jade Dudley-Epps and Leonor Polezzi were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Monday, recognizing standout performances in a 2-2 week that included sweeps of both Central Michigan and Western Michigan to open the DePaul Invitational.
Dudley-Epps, a junior middle blocker, hit .368 on the week with 33 kills on 68 attempts and just 8 errors, adding 3 aces, 2 solo blocks, 14 block assists, 8 digs and 45.0 points. She was at her best against Western Michigan on Sept. 12, hitting .895 (17 kills, 0 errors, 19 attempts) to break both DePaul's 19-year-old single-match hitting percentage record and the BIG EAST's single-match mark. The effort also landed her a spot on the DePaul Invitational All-Tournament Team. She now ranks seventh in the BIG EAST in hitting percentage (.352) and fourth in total blocks (38.0) on the season.
Polezzi, a senior setter, ran the Blue Demon offense with 114 assists over four matches, adding 6 kills without an error for .667 hitting, 3 aces, 5 block assists and 29 digs for 11.5 points. She posted a season-high 43 assists in the win over Western Michigan. Polezzi leads the BIG EAST with 9.07 assists per set and sits eighth in service aces per set (.40) on the season, her second Weekly Honor Roll nod of the year, after first earning the distinction on Aug. 31, 2026.
