Men’s Tennis Splits Squad for WMU/Notre Dame Invitationals

DePaul readies for second weekend of fall season
WMU/NOTRE DAME -- DePaul men's tennis will compete at two events this weekend, sending groups to both the WMU/Jack Vredevelt Invitational in Kalamazoo, Mich., and the Fighting Irish Mini Duals in South Bend, Ind.
At Western Michigan, the Blue Demons join Ball State, Butler, Gonzaga and Marquette for the Vredevelt Invitational, running Friday and Saturday at Sorensen Courts with play starting at 9 a.m. both days. DePaul returns to the event after a strong showing a year ago, finishing with 10 singles wins and five doubles wins over the two-day tournament. Western Michigan will pause competition Friday at 1:30 p.m. to honor Jack Vredevelt and the Vredevelt family for their long-standing support of Bronco tennis. Admission is free.
Another group of Blue Demons heads to South Bend for the Fighting Irish Mini Duals, hosted by Notre Dame from Friday through Sunday, Sept. 27.
