Played at Oak Park and River Forest High School for coaches Kelly Collins and Don August.
Played three years as a varsity starter.
Named Team Captain of high school team.
Awarded varsity MVP Award for 2017-18 season after leading team in points her junior and senior year.
Selected to West Suburban Conference All-Conference Team and West Suburban Conference All-Academic Team
Chosen by the Pioneer Press for the 1^st Team All-Area Volleyball Team in 2017-18 after being named as an All-Area Honorable Mention in 2016-17.
Selected by Sportstownchicago.com as a member of the Illinois All Star Team in 2018.
Twice chosen as a Wednesday Journal All-Star.
Named to the AutumnFest (Glenbard East High School) All Tournament Team in 2018
A member of the Dean’s List, Honor Roll and a Spanish National Honor Society Member.
In high school played club volleyball for 1^st Alliance/Lions Jrs Volleyball Club for coaches Aubrey Dondlinger, Danielle Mikos and Megan Hackett
Part of club team that qualified for USAV Jr. Nationals in 2014, 2015 and 2017, while also taking bronze at the AAU Nationals in 2016.

Daughter of Jesus “Jesse” Garcia and Gloria Quiñones-Garcia.
Older sister of Diego (16) and Mateo (13).
Father Jesse attended DePaul for graduate school, as well as cousins Rio and Martin Diaz.
Cousin Christian Sanchez played soccer for UIC and cousin Horacio Sanchez played soccer at Wright State.
