Carolyn Lewis serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Business and Financial Affairs, a role she has served since November 2001. Lewis is reponsbile for managing all aspects of the athletics department budget, including purchasing, travel, accounts payable, payroll and financial planning. She additionally serves as sport administrator for men's soccer and men's golf.
Lewis also serves on the BIG EAST Conference Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) working group and is a part of DePaul's DEI committee. Along with her duties at DePaul, Lewis served as the President for the College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) in 2006-07.
She first joined DePaul after spending three years at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where she served as Assistant Athletics Director for Business Affairs and the Senior Woman Administrator.
Before joining the staff at Lamar, Lewis spent a year at Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La. as a marketing and development assistant.
Lewis is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a bachelor of arts in Sociology. She earned a master’s in Sports Administration from Indiana University. A native of Springfield, Ill., Lewis and her husband Brian and daughter Abigail reside in Chicago’s Wrigleyville neighborhood.
