Wu joins DePaul with four years of PGA Tour experience
CHICAGO – DePaul golf head coach Ryan Jamison announced the addition of Jeremy Wu to the Blue Demons program as a Graduate Assistant for the 2026 season. Wu brings an experienced background with professional golf, including four seasons on the PGA Tour, to Chicago.
"Hiring Jeremy helps elevate our DePaul golf program in every way," said Jamison. "His passion for player development, competitive drive and commitment to our student-athletes aligns perfectly with our vision. Jeremy brings the energy, expertise and leadership that will help take our program to the next level."
Wu has spent the last four seasons caddying on the PGA Tour, most notably for his brother, Dylan Wu. Wu's work at the highest levels of professional golf helped him develop a deep understanding of the mental and strategic demands of elite competition and player support.
In his new role at DePaul, Wu will work closely with Coach Jamison and student-athletes to provide strategic and operational support, contribute to player development initiatives and assist with program logistics.
Wu's journey reflects extraordinary perseverance after being diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma in 2024. After undergoing treatment, he was declared cancer-free in early 2025 and returned to caddying where he had a key role in helping his brother secure Tour status.
A graduate of Valparaiso University, Wu was a four-year letter winner for the Beacons. Wu comes from a golf family where all of his brothers and sisters played Division 1 golf – Dylan at Northwestern, Joshua at Air Force and Kaylee at Lipscomb.
