- Won the Javelin (52.92m) at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invite (4/29)… Took fourth in the Javelin (49.28m) at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championships (5/12).

- Competed in two meets in his rookie season
- Set a career best in Shot Put at the GVSU Eubanks Open (1/15) with a throw of 10.40m
- Threw for 10.05m in the Weight Throw at the GVSU Eubanks Open (1/15) setting a new career best.
