Bradley Bruno was first named an assistant coach on the Blue Demons coaching staff on May 31, 2023 and was retained on Jill Pizzotti's staff as assistant coach and general manager in May of 2025. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Bruno will assist with opportunities around Name, Image and Likeness; transfer portal education and roster construction.
Working primarily with the post unit, Bruno tutored All-BIG EAST First Team and Most Improved Player Jorie Allen to a standout season in 2024-25. Allen averaged 20.0 points per game, which ranked second in the BIG EAST, and finished in double figures in all 32 games, a streak that ranked top-15 in the nation. She also led DePaul in assists (121), steals (42) and blocks (25). Redshirt junior forward Meg Newman ranked fourth in the league in rebounding with 8.2 boards per game. Newman grabbed 10 or more rebounds on eight occasions.
Bruno returned to Lincoln Park after spending the last two seasons on Sam Quigley Smith's staff at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE).
During his time in Edwardsville, Bruno worked primarily with the post positional group while overseeing recruiting efforts and assisting with all aspects of the program. Bruno saw a pair of Cougars earn All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team honors in his tenure in addition to guiding the team to wins in the OVC Tournament in back-to-back seasons.
Prior to his stint at SIUE, Bruno spent six seasons on staff in Lincoln Park, serving as the Video Coordinator from 2015-19 before moving into the Director of Basketball Operations role from 2019-21. During his first run with the Blue Demons, the program advanced to NCAA Tournament five times including one appearance in the Sweet 16 while also claiming three BIG EAST Tournament titles.
He graduated from DePaul in 2014 with a degree in Sociology with a concentration in Law, Crime and Criminology.
As a student, Bradley was a member of DePaul’s practice squad and helped the 2011 and 2014 teams to the NCAA Sweet 16. Before coming to DePaul, Bradley played one season at St. Mary's University, a Division III school in Winona, Minn. He played in 25 games with 14 starts and averaged 7.6 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Cardinals. Bradley recorded two double-doubles including a 22-point, 10-rebound performance against Hamline University.
