Ariyana Alamo signed her National Letter of Intent to join the DePaul women's volleyball program on April 21, 2021.

Ariyana, an 11-year-old from Hammond, Ind., is currently battling Acute lymphocytic leukemia after being diagnosed in 2019. Off the court, Ariyana enjoys running, photography, creating art and spending time with her 1-year-old brother.

Through Team IMPACT, Ariyana has joined the Blue Demons program and will attend DePaul practices, games and other team events.

Nobody embodies those qualities more than Ariyana” DePaul Head Coach Marie Zidek said. “We are thrilled to add such a tremendously passionate young individual to our squad! We can’t wait to get her here and involved with our program.”
