LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The DePaul men’s track and field team wrapped up the annual Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday in Louisville, Ky. Siddiqu Muhammad posted the top finish on the final day in the 400-meter hurdles while the team finished 11th overall.
Muhammad was one of four Blue Demons that qualified for Saturday’s finals with a top finish in the Friday prelims. He clocked a time of 53.01 to take fourth in the 400-meter hurdles.
Larry Inanga finished seventh in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.22. In the 1500 meters, the Blue Demons placed a pair of runners in the top 10. Richard Byrne was eighth in 3:56.96 while Gavin Kennedy placed 10th with a time of 4:01.00.
The 4x400-meter relay team of Doug Bohr, Donnie Smith, Inanga and Muhammad finished seventh overall with a time of 3:16.68.
Cincinnati won the team title with 159.5 points ahead of Houston with 120 points. TCU was third with 117 points followed by Memphis' 78.5 points in fourth place.
