Track and Field Teams Pick Up Academic Honors

CHICAGO – The DePaul men’s and women’s track and field programs recently picked up academic honors from the National Collegiate Division I Track and Field Coaches Association. Both the men’s and women’s teams were named All-Academic while Leah Rygh and Erin Moffett earned All-Academic individual honors.
The women’s team tallied the nation’s ninth-highest GPA with a cumulative mark of 3.281. Rygh and Moffett were two of the top individual student-athletes recognized by the National Collegiate Division I Track and Field Coaches Association. Rygh posted a GPA of 3.693 while Moffett earned honors with 3.302 GPA.
The men’s program was ranked 14th overall with a team GPA of 3.01. This year’s honors mark the third straight year that DePaul’s track and field programs are ranked among the nation’s elite.
