DePaul Soccer Teams Earn Academic Honors

NSCAA College Team Academic Award List
CHICAGO – The DePaul men's and women's soccer programs are just one of 48 schools to hold the distinction of having both programs recognized for the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2004-05 academic year. The NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches Association recognizes the top academic programs that hold a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
The women's team was one of 246 women's programs to earn the honor with a cumulative GPA of 3.46. On the men's side, DePaul's team GPA of 3.16 put them in a group of academic achievers with 64 other college soccer programs from all levels.
Among all NCAA Division I programs, there were just 12 schools that could claim the honor of having both the men's and women's programs on the NSCAA academic list.
