Lenti and Chouinard Earn C-USA All-Decade Honors

Joining Chouinard on the All-Decade team are former Blue Demons Liz Bouck (2000-2003), Sarah Martz (2001-2004) and senior Saskia Roberson.
Southern Miss and USF each had two selections, while
Voting on the awards was done by each of the league's current softball coaches.

Eugene Lenti, DePaul (1983-present)
Is 102-18 overall in C-USA play and 248-102 overall since 2000... Produced nine All-Americans, five Academic All-American, three Conference USA Players of the Year, two C-USA Pitchers of the Year, two C-USA Freshman of the Year, three C-USA Tournament MVPs ... 22 First Team All-Conference selections and 17 C-USA All-Tournament Selection... 2000 coaching staff was named the NFCA Mideast Coaching Staff of the Year... named the 2001 C-USA coach of the year... 2000 team made their second consecutive WCWS appearance... Coached team to five straight NCAA appearances... Won C-USA regular season titles in 2001, 2002 and 2003... Won the last 3 C-USA Tournaments

Lindsay Chouinard, DePaul (2000-2003) - PLAYER OF THE DECADE
Finished her career with a 0.94 ERA... Three-time All-American (2003- first team, 2002- second team, and 2000-third team)... Named C-USA Player of the year in 2003 and C-USA Pitcher of the Year in 2002 and 2003... Three-time Academic All-American... holds 12 of DePaul's pitching records including most wins (108) and most strikeouts (858)... Named NCAA Regional MVP in 1999... Named C-USA Freshman of the Year in 1999... 2002 & 2003 C-USA Tournament MVP and named to the C-USA All-Tournament Roster in 2000 & 2001... Named NFCA Player of the Week in 2003.
Liz Bouck, DePaul (2000-2003)
Second-team All-American in 2002... Named C-USA Player of the Year in 2002... First-team C-USA in 2003... Four-time member of the C-USA All-Tournament Team... Helped the Blue Demons to three first place regular season crowns and two C-USA Tournament Titles... Member of the 2000 NCAA All-Tournament Team... Holds the DePaul record for most singles in a career (248)... finished her career with 101 stolen bases.
Sarah Martz, DePaul (2001-2004)
2004 NCAA Illinois Woman of the Year... Three-time All-American (2001-second-team, 2003 & 2004- third team)... three-time Academic All-American (2003 & 2004-first team, 2002-third team)... 2001 C-USA Player & Freshman of the Year... 2004 C-USA Tournament MVP... 4-time First Team C-USA selection... Three-time C-USA All-Tournament Selection... 2004 NFCA Player of the Week... Finished her career with a DePaul record, 307 hits and 791 at bats... threw a C-USA record two-perfect games.
Saskia Roberson, DePaul (2002-2005)
Two-time All-American (third-team 2003 & 2004)... Named to the 2003 & 2004 NCAA All-Regional Team... Two-time First Team All C-USA selection (2003 & 2004)... 2002 All-Freshman team member... 2004 C-USA Tournament selection... holds the C-USA record for home runs (48) and is one off the C-USA record with 168 RBI.

Keola Calderon,
Four-time All-Conference USA team member (1st team 2000-02, 2nd team 2003)... Named to the 2000 NFCA All-South Region second team (2000)... Holds school single season record for RBI (50) (2001 season) and career (140)... Holds school record for career games played with 233 (did not miss a game in her career and started all but one)... Finished her career with 53 doubles, also a school record... Played outfield, first base, third base and designated player for the Cardinals.

Hit .383, 92 hits, 60 runs, 18 doubles, 58 RBI, 14 home runs, 28 walks, in 240 at-bats in 2000... Finished her career with a .417 school record batting average, 185 hits, 34 doubles, 121 runs, 29 home runs and 109 RBI... C-USA Hitter of the Week... NCAA All-Regional Team... NFCA All South 1st Team... Helped USM win the inaugural C-USA regular-season title and tournament.

Leigh Ann Ellis, USF (2003-04)
A two-time all-C-USA performer... two-time NFCA all-region selection... earned eight pitcher of the week honors in her two years at USF, including six in 2004... two-time national player of the week... named C-USA Pitcher of the Year in 2004... third in the nation in victories 43-8 in 2004 ... registered three no-hitters and two perfect games in her two-year C-USA career ... named to 2004 NCAA All-Regional team... 2004 NCAA All-American... broke five USF single-season records and broke four of those records twice (victories, innings pitched, shutouts, strikeouts)... Ranked 2nd in strikeouts (633), 4th in ERA (1.13), 2nd in victories (77), 3rd in innings pitched (610) in two years at USF.
