DePaul Softball Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

Three Power Four opponents anchor packed eight-game slate
CHICAGO – DePaul softball head coach Liz Bouck-Jagielski, entering her third year with the program, unveiled the 2026 Fall Schedule, highlighted by three power-level program matchups.
The Blue Demons open 2026 fall ball in Illinois, traveling to DeKalb Sept. 20 to compete in a split-doubleheader with Triton College and Northern Illinois. DePaul continues its in-state road trip the following week, heading north of Chicago for a late morning clash with Lake Forest College Sept. 26.
DePaul ends the month with its first out-of-state contest Sept. 27, making the trip to Purdue to compete against the Boilermakers and Lake Land College.
The team opens October by bouncing back and forth between Indiana and Illinois. First, the Blue Demons battle Loyola Chicago at Rosemont Stadium Oct. 2, then hit the road for a matchup at Notre Dame on Oct. 8. DePaul's 2026 fall schedule ends with a showdown at Northwestern on Oct. 23.
Twelve Blue Demon players rejoin the lineup this season after the team finished with a 20-30 record last season. Key returners include outfielder Jolie Adams and first baseman Chelsea Parker.
Adams led the team last season in batting average (.403), triples (3) and hits (54) over 44 starts. Parker spearheaded the Blue Demon offense in four categories over 142 at-bats: slugging percentage (.768), RBI (49), home runs (15) and total bases (109).
DePaul also boasts the addition of four freshmen and five transfers for the 2026-27 season, including transfer pitcher Leah Lowery and transfer catcher Allyssa Ramos, as well as freshman third baseman Ashlyn Kita and freshman catcher Zoey Whittaker.
