The Blue Demon men fell into 11th place, totaling 24 points in the three-day meet.
During Day Three of the competition, Anthony Becknek paced DePaul with a fifth place finish in the 5000 meter run. This marked the first time Becknek participated in the event on the season, crossing the line in 15:01.73.
Rashard Deleston bounded 14.43m (47’04.25”) in the triple jump en route to a sixth place spot, as well as a season and career best jump.
The men’s relay teams stayed consistent in both the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter races, earning two eighth place finishes.
Jamal Cornelious, Kriss Arnold, Kwaku Attoh, and Donnie Smith combined for a 43.41 finish in the 4x100 meter relay. The first place finishing
In the 4x400 meter relay, Rich Fugiel, Arnold, Dan Branca, and Justin Williams sped to a DePaul season best finish of 3:19.02. TCU notched a winning time of 3:05.70.
Webster Jones soared to a season best leap in the high jump, registering a 12th place finish after clearing 1.90m (6’02.75”).
This meet marked the final C-USA Track & Field Championships for the Blue Demons as DePaul gets set to head into the BIG EAST next year.
