Softball Falls in Regular Season Finale

CHICAGO- The DePaul softball team dropped its final game of the season to Conference
Senior Saskia Roberson and sophomore Linda Secka each recorded singles for DePaul.
The Blue Demons fielding woes continued in the third, allowing the Cardinals to post another run. Michelle Vasqueze reached on an error and scored on Sara Bausher’s double to right center.
DePaul had a chance to score in the bottom of the fourth, loading the bases with only one out. However, Sara Bandauski sent a shot back at Sherman, who made a great catch and doubled-up a tagging Secka.
Sophomore pitcher Tracie Adix (21-6) recorded the loss, throwing the first two innings before sophomore Huitink came in to throw the final five innings.
DePaul honored its five seniors, Jenny Doezie, Kathleen Goss, Dana Kenney, Ashley Parker and Saskia Roberson at the conclusion of Sunday’s game.
The Blue Demons will be the No. 2 seed in the C-USA tournament next week in
