Track and Field to Compete in Southern California

CHICAGO- Select members from the DePaul track and field teams travel to
Coming off a second place heptathlon performance at last week’s Chicagoland Championships, Lindsey Deason opens competition for DePaul in the multi-event Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. (PCT.) The first day of heptathlon events will feature the 100m hurdles, the high jump, the shot put, and the 200m dash. Deason will conclude the multi-event on Thursday morning with the long jump, javelin and 800m run.
The rest of the Blue Demons will open their
Anthony Becknek and Richard Byrne will close out Thursday in the men’s distance events. Becknek is scheduled to run the 3,000m steeplechase at 5:00 p.m. followed by Byrne in the men’s 1,500m run at 6:20 p.m.
Friday will send most of the Blue Demons to
Becknek and Byrne kick off the Long Beach State Invitational, taking on the men’s 1,500m run. They will be followed by Erik Felt and Patrick Smith in the men’s 110m hurdles. The LBS Invitational wraps up for DePaul at 3:25 p.m. as Carrie Moffett runs in the women’s 5,000m.
The Blue Demons will also compete at the LBS Invitational in the men’s and women’s 400m dash, the women’s javelin throw, the men’s 800m run, the men’s 400m hurdles, and the men’s and the women’s 200m dash.
On Saturday, the women’s 4x100m relay team of Mary Hodges, Kyra Coffey, Jessica Rodriguez and Stephanie Williams will conclude the
