The Blue Demons never really got their offense going on Sunday as they were out hit 19-8 and their defense was stymied by three errors.

Sophomore Sandy Vojik walked and freshman Stephanie Blagaich and senior Sara Polensky both singled to load the bases for junior Linda Secka, who connected on a fielder choice that scored two runs. Freshman Amber Patton ripped an RBI single to score the Blue Demons third run of the inning.

The Blue Demons mounted a comeback in the seventh, posting one run before pinch runner Katie Hanson was called out at the plate attempting to steal home and tie the game.
