Softball Closes Out the Regular Season

CHICAGO – The DePaul softball team will close out the regular season with doubleheaders at St. John and Seton Hall this weekend. The Blue Demons take on the Redstorm on Saturday and the Pirates on Sunday. This weekends games are important to all three teams as each team is vying for the final two spots in the BIG EAST Tournament next weekend in

On Saturday, the Blue Demons will face
Sunday's games pit DePaul against Seton Hall, who needs to sweep Notre Dame and take one game from the Blue Demons to advance to the Championship. The Pirates are led by Katie Pierce, who is batting .377 and has tallied 44 RBI this season.
The Blue Demons have had a rough two weeks and are 4-6 in their last 10 contests. Freshman Amber Patton has led DePaul at the plate this season with a .335 batting average and is ranked ninth in the country with 20 sacrifice hits.
This is the first time the Blue Demons have faced Seton Hall and marks the seventh time they have faced
