Cooper crossed the finish line with a time of 1:54.88 to win the 800m crown. It marked his second 800m time of the season better than 1:54.90.
Virginia MacFabe notched a distance of 47.90m to place sixth in the women’s hammer throw. She surpassed the BIG EAST qualifying standard of 45.12m for the second time this season.
DePaul earned a pair of BIG EAST qualifying throws from Curtis Hoag. The freshman placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 14.67m and eclipsed the BIG EAST standard of 14.63m. He also posted a hammer throw of 47.67m to finish 13th in the event and exceed the BIG EAST mark of 43.40m for the second time this season.
The men’s 100m dash saw Piotr Lewkowski finish second with a time of 11.43, while Shauna Lurey placed third in the women’s 100m dash with a time of 12.97.
