Blue Demons and Panthers Rescheduled for Thursday Afternoon

CHICAGO – Less than 24 hours after being rained out, the DePaul Blue Demons and UW-Milwaukee Panthers will play their exhibition match at Wish Field. The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday night in Milwaukee, but heavy rain postponed the exhibition match. Thursday’s action in Chicago is set for a 4 p.m. start.

Following Thursday’s game, the Blue Demons play their final preseason tune-up on Saturday afternoon. DePaul plays Western Michigan at 2 p.m. in the first half of a DePaul soccer exhibition doubleheader. The women’s team plays Northwestern at 4 p.m. to complete the twinbill. Both games will be played at Wish Field.

The regular season opens on Friday, Aug. 31 against Jacksonville. The season-opener starts a run of six straight matches at Wish Field to begin the 2007 season for the Blue Demons.
