Softball Tangles with Illinois in an Elimination Game

COLUMBIA, Mo. The 15th seeded DePaul softball team will face Illinois in an elimination game today at 4 p.m., at Missouri’s University Field.
The Blue Demons dropped a 1-0 game to Bradley yesterday, while Illinois fell to Missouri 5-1 today after its game was suspended due to severe weather last night.
DePaul holds a 9-6-1 series advantage over Illinois and won this year’s regular season meeting 6-2 in Champaign.
The winner of today’s elimination game will face the loser of the Missouri/Bradley game tonight at 6:30 p.m.
