Wildcat Tournament Draws - Results 
EVANSTON, Ill. - The DePaul men's tennis team tallied 10 wins on the first day of the Wildcat Invitational hosted at Northwestern's Combe Indoor Tennis Center. Half of DePaul's victories came in the doubles bracket, while Filip Dzanko, George Chanturia, Sven Kasper, Mathias Hambach and Adam Reinhart all won their respective singles matches.
In the eight-team B-Doubles bracket, Kasper and Hambach as well as Dzanko and Reinhart both won two matches which sets up and all-DePaul final on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
Kasper and Hambach won their first match 8-2 over the Illinois State pair of Jusso Ojanen and Jacob Wilson. The Blue Demon duo went on to defeat Garrett Cona and Grant Adams from Toledo 8-4 in the semifinals.
On the bottom half of the B-Doubles bracket, Dzanko and Reinhart topped Maximillian Phillips and Maksym Lagutin from Northern Illinois 8-3. The DePaul tandem defeated its rival from Marquette James Stark and Cameron Tehrani 8-3.
George Chanturia and Matija Palinic went 1-1 in the top doubles bracket. The Blue Demon pair took its first match from the Iowa team of Christopher Speer and Connor Gilmore 8-4. Chanturia and Palinic dropped their second match to the Illinois pair of Ross Guignon and Tim Kopinski.
In the singles brackets all of DePaul's wins came in two sets. Dzanko and Chanturia advanced in the top singles bracket while Sven Kasper won his B-Flight match.
Hambach tallied his win in the C-Flight and Reinhart rounded out the singles wins with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Bryant Wei from Northern Illinois in the D-singles bracket.
Play resumes on Saturday at 8 a.m.
